Left of Center Creative Challenges needs you! That's right, we are holding a DT Call and are looking to take on several new team members so here's what you need to know and what you need to do.
LOC Crew are in two teams and you will be required to produce a project
every other week and comment on entries to our challenges
*Our DT organisation and chat facilities are through our (private) Facebook Group and you will be required to join us there where you will find all the information you need and images from our sponsors.
*We also have a public Facebook group where you can promote your projects and interact with our members. A Monthly Facebook Contest is in it's early stages and should this continue you can request a sponsor image and create a project for this on top of your blog challenge commitment.
*An active Blog is a plus - we would expect you to showcase your project and a blog is the ideal place to do this. However, should you wish to use a Facebook page or other Social Media to promote the sponsor/challenge etc we may be able to work with that instead and this should not stop you applying.
*The initial term is 6 months from November till April and we would expect you to meet this requirement if you apply (dont worry about holidays!)
In return, you will receive many new images to work with from our sponsors - these range from Rick St Dennis, Ike's Art, Dilly Beans, Delicious Doodles, The East Wind and others. We have several NEW sponsors lined up for 2015 who I am sure you would be excited to work with. Our current sponsors can be found on the left tool bar on the blog here.
Our team is diverse and friendly. We have paper crafters, digital artists, mixed media and altered artists - and those who dabble in other areas too. Do not worry about being alternative or dark or 'LOC' - samples can be LOC or indeed pretty, cute, pink and fluffy as long as they follow the theme. Yes, many of our team enjoy the darker side of crafting, but we are looking for diversity and to encourage others to join in our challenges too. So, don't let the LOC aspect stop you from applying either!
To apply - create a short post answering these quick questions - linky tool is below.
1 - What brought you to the LOC blog and have you entered any LOC challenges in the past?
2 - What is your favourite/comfortable crafting style - your 'go to' style?
3 - Please share 2 or 3 photos (or more if you like!) of your recent favourite work
4 - A few sentences about why you would like to join our LOC Crew.
5 - if you have any questions for me or the team - we will post our answer as comments to your blog!
If you are applying without a blog - please email the above information to myself at email@example.com - and also include how you would share your projects without a blog, eg your facebook page or other social media outlet including links.
Thank you and best wishes
